I love to write. I love pirates. I love music. I love print and production. So I sometimes write books and find cool ways to finish them.
For the pirate book, I soaked parchment paper in tea leaves, hand-tore every page, and bound it myself. But writing it was the most fun. That and aging the leather and gold-embossing it. It's all silly, but there's something extremely satisfying about the tactile feel of a well made book.
The Roadie Book was inspired by the stock first. It reminded me of old vintage English amplifier canvas. I wrote and designed the piece as an excuse to buy the stock.
