A startup in Brisbane, California, Bolt Motorcycles, had to legally change their name, per a legal action by Yamaha. They had internally decided on Monday Motorbikes and wanted both a total rebrand, as well as brand-awareness campaigning.
Using my existing and never-quenched knowledge of motorcycles, I knew they wanted to be seen as tech-forward (like Tesla) but approachable.
Through photoshoots, editing, custom typography, and the attitude of motorcycle communities, I wrote and designed a brand guide for them to grow into and execute on internally.
As a startup, they ran wild with the new campaigning for the new brand and have since upped their product line and grown into a larger warehouse in Southern California.
